About Brent "Monty" Montgomery and Barrier Reef Pools in New Zealand

The legacy of Barrier Reef Pools in New Zealand started in 2005 with a rack of twelve pools shipped from Australia to Auckland, and only two agents ready to create what is now a well-recognised brand in the industry, with both established and newer agents across much of the country Brent "Monty" Montgomery has been involved in the pool industry in NZ for about 25 years, starting out in pool maintenance before becoming an installer of Barrier Reef Pools fibreglass swimming pools in the Hawkes Bay in 2008The opportunity came up in 2019 for (then named) Coastal Pools NZ Ltd to expand in to the Manawatu and Horowhenua areas, as well as Kapiti – an area the Montgomery family has strong links to since the 1950sIn 2022 Coastal Pools NZ Ltd became the Master Dealer of Barrier Reef Pools in New Zealand, importing them direct from the manufacturer for dealers in New Zealand, and with the support of Barrier Reef Pools Australia, the future looks set to continue the success of the past
